Court Liaison

The Court Liaison Unit is currently staffed by one Court Liaison Officer.  The primary function of this officer is to ensure that all department reports and records needed for court are provided in good order, to keep abreast of court schedules, and to keep the department informed of changes in the procedures and needs of the court, as they relate to case preparation and prosecution. 

The Liaison Officer also generates and maintains a computerized arrest warrant list and maintains Arrest Warrant files.  In addition the Officer also manages up-to-date listings of all Protective and Restraining Orders issued by the Court and maintains the Radar and Laser speed monitor units calibration certificates for court prosecution purposes.
